Keeping in mind the needs of the poor and needy people in society, Late Mr. Kele Kaka established the Chandrakant Kele Medical and Research Foundation in Dhule on 5 June 2016.
Many patients suffering from kidney disease were unable to afford dialysis treatment and were facing the risk of death. Patients had to travel to cities such as Mumbai, Pune and Nashik for dialysis, which placed a significant financial burden on their families and caused considerable hardship.
Understanding this situation, Late Mr. Kele Kaka, through the Trust, started the first project in Dhule to provide free dialysis treatment to economically disadvantaged patients suffering from kidney disease on the occasion of World Kidney Day, 9 March 2017.
Today, anyone in society who requires dialysis can receive it free of cost through this initiative.
